An adult is a human or other animal that is at the full growth.The biological definition of the term is the animal has reached sexual maturity and thus capable of reproduction. In the context of humans adults have significance that is shaped by social and legal concepts. Legally mature means that a person attains the age of maturity and can be defined as an independent, self-sufficient person and accountable. Also, they can be described as an "major". The age when a child becomes an adult legally is 18, however, the definition of"legal maturity" may differ based on the legal or country system, as well as the psychological condition of the child.

When a human reaches full physical and intellectual maturity, this is called adulthood. Adulthood, as typically understood, is at the age of either 20 or 21. The middle age is approximately 40 and is followed by the elderly age of 60. In adulthood there are three distinct stages: Early adulthood (18-30 years) middle adulthood (30-60 years) and finally, late adulthood (60%-60 60%). In the early years of adulthood we have reached its full physical maturity. However, our size and weight may rise. When we reach the beginning of our lives, we're physically and mentally at the peak. The strength of our muscles, the response timing, the ability to sense and cardiac function are all at their highest levels.
