Katarina is a native of Staaken on the 3rd December 1965. In her quest for the next challenge, Katarina discovers new work areas and acquires knowledge in diverse disciplines like production and figure skating. Katarina Witt's illustrious amateur career is now over after 1988's World Championships. During the three following years she co-headlines with Brian Boitano (World Champion, Calgary Olympic Champion) her first US and Canadian professional tours. Through her production company WITT, she is responsible for many international ice shows that are conceptualised, made, headlined, and then produced. The company set the bar for skating production, producing programs like "Divas on ice", "Katarina & Friends", Enjoy the Stars" and Winter Magic for US and German television.
